Kaʻu is a small district located in the southern part of Hawaiʻi Island and boasts some of the world's best coffee plantations. At coffee festivals, it is often rated higher than the famous Kona coffees. Often served at coffee shops as a pour over coffee and as black coffee, Kaʻu coffee is known for itʻs fruity sweet brightness and medium acidity.
